Sales Manager


Carpolo is recruiting a Sales Manager. The role requires a self-driven, business savvy, and entrepreneurial candidate with a flair for deal-making.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new sales leads, developing deals with B2B customers and overseeing a support team to achieve long-term success. On-the-ground presence is required to onboard users and to make sure that the customers’ needs are met.

The role requires previous experience in B2B sales, relationship building, establishing sales targets, and team management. Moreover, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to integrate in a start-up environment is an essential attribute for the successful candidate.

Skills and competencies needed: self-starter, team player, tech oriented, excellent spoken and written English, ability to handle B2B sales, attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Sales-oriented Responsibilities:
  • Identify, approach and develop new customers
  • Meet and discuss solutions with Admin, HR and CSR mangers of big organizations such as universities, companies, and municipalities
  • Draft sales offers and proposals requiring professional writing skills
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Team Development Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and train sales and customer support team
  • Prepare, document and apply a sales process and iterate on it based on client requirements
  • Liaise with business and tech team to relay customer needs

  • Minimum 3-year experience in B2B sales and account management
  • Has held and met sales quotas in previous roles
  • Previous cloud sales/knowledge, understanding of the lifecycle and needs of startups
  • Excellent spoken English and professional writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS/MBA or degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Experience in startups, pitching, and business plan development is a plus
  • Experience in recruiting and managing a startup sales team
